Final Digital Portfolio

Throughout my three years taking art classes at Lincoln I have learned a lot about myself and my artistic style. The beginning digital photography class sparked my interests in photography and graphic design. Now in my senior year, I am enjoying both the advanced photography and graphics classes. I am still working to develop a distinct personal style but have found that I am most drawn to simplistic and minimalistic designs. I enjoy graphics that grab a viewer's attention and make a strong statement. This year I have loved being a part of a team that has worked on multiple projects designing for a real audience. From banners for the student store to posters for the school plays and T-shirts for the Anti-Bullying program, I enjoyed creating graphics to better our school. In photography I have found myself drawn to nature. When I am shooting nature I feel a connection to my surroundings and am continuously inspired by the beautiful settings. I most enjoyed creating my “sense of place grid” because I was able to shoot in so many different nature locations. As my time at Lincoln is coming to a close, I want to recognize the four years I have spent in art classes with teachers who have inspired me. In the future I hope to continue to take photos and maybe even pursue a career involving graphic design.
